- Your skillet can rust so keep it out of the dishwasher, do not soak and dry immediately after cleaning. Use warm water, scrape any stuck bits with a spoon, a little elbow grease with a rag and finish with a paper towel. Lightly polish with a stainless steel chainmail scrubber for a smooth patina.

Love it! I wanted a small pan that I could use on a regular stove and my induction burner. When it came in I wondered if Iâd really get much use out of such a small pan-boy was I wrong! I use that pan almost daily. It makes the best fried eggs, steaks, burgers, fried potatoes, onions you name it. Anything you want crispy or nice crust on it cooks perfectly. Worked well for bread I bought this skillet specifically to make smaller loaves of soda bread and rye bread (no yeast). I read the comments about the inside of the skillet being pre-season, although rough and was a little worried. Honestly, the inside isn’t as smooth as the cast iron pans I inherited from my great grandma, so eggs probably won’t do well.
