I only use Lodge and or Griswold and old Wagner Ware made in USA cast irons, because of a lack of any of the American Maids making cast irons in this size I did a lot of research and read a lot of forms before I purchased this King cookware. I’ve got to say it actually performs better than my Lodge cast iron and I can’t find an ounce of research that shows that this was made poorly in China which sometimes has traces of lead in their cast iron.
