  2. Product defect I ordered this because I have a smaller lodge cast iron pan for years which I love and wanted a larger one to complement. However four months after purchase as I was heating up olive oil on mediumHigh temp , while I was in the kitchen dicing gArlic for it , I heard what sounded like a gunshot and found that the pan split in two.
