Its better than most ceramics but to make it last 1 never never heat above low/med, never shock the temp ( blast cold water onto hot pan), never scrub with abrasives like magic erasers or scouring pads, always let pan mostly cool after cooking, hand wash with sponge and wipe dry w soft cloth or good paper towel, and then heat for 30 sec and coat with oil (coconut works well) once a week or 10ish uses.
