Great Pan / Misleading Description Most of my cookware is either Calphalon (non-stick) or Cuisinart (stainless). A 10″ skillet is my daily “go to” pan. I have larger and smaller but I really needed another 10″ one for omelettes and the like. I was about to buy another Calphalon when I read a very positive review of the Pure Living pan on Tasting Table, saw that the price was right on Amazon, and ordered one. I absolutely love it! THE FAIREST PAN IN ALL THE LAND This pan is golden because it was crafted by the cooking gods, at least that what I’ve concluded.The ceramic coating is as smooth as the tooth of an angel, and food slides right off like butter on a bald monkey. It’s fabulous.You DO need to “season” the pan before the first use by rubbing some oil in it and letting it warm up on low heat (I use coconut because I’m tropical like that). Great Pan Dr. Andrew Weil recommended a nonstick pan (no specific brand name) that was made from the exact materials that this WearEver …nonstick is made from. Therefore I felt comfortable enough to make the purchase. (so glad!) This is a light weight pan that gets the job done. I have used it mostly to saute vegetables or to reheat food.
