Poorly designed handle that can be easily broken off during shipping or under heavy load Bought one of these pans, the first one was snapped off at the handle when arrived. Not the fault of the product or seller I don’t think, just bad packaging as the pan was thrown into a big box with packaging materials. Probably got hit by a forklift in transit or something. Love This! The handle was broken when received. The package must have dropped during shipping. The handle is secured by a long screw. The screw base is soldered onto the outer side of the pan. The soldering area is only pea size with minimum amount of solder (see picture). There isn’t an ear on the opposite side of the handle for easy lifting. I suspect the handle was broken off from the pan when dropped during shipping. I can imagine it would also easily break if lifted under full load. Comparing…
