… CVS some time ago and I thought it was fantastic. That particular pan did not let me down … I bought my first Gotham Steel pan at CVS some time ago and I thought it was fantastic. That particular pan did not let me down and I do still use it to this day. However, I purchased the set not too long ago and I have had a terrible experience with this set. My first experience was with one of the pots after looking at it closely I could see the gold layer was flaking off. I talked Gotham and they responded by saying I needed to send them the pot with a check to cover shipping and handling…
Not so nice anymore. Everything sticks in the skillets. Beware if you buy. Just received this last week and have only used the frying pan and medium sauce pan. They are nice and heavy and performed as advertised. Time will tell on how they hold up.Update since last review. I will now give this set a 2 since the pots seem to work very well when used at medium or lower heat.Now to the skillets. I’ve tried everything that was recommended to get the skillets to not stick as advertised. I wish that I could say that something worked but can’t. I don’t know what…
