  1. BEWARE! Lid Explodes! Very dangerous! Beware! Was cooking chicken on low, when not even 10 minutes in and a loud POP! Glass is sent showering all over me, the range, into the food (organic and expensive), the floor, the countertop. Lucky I didn’t get hit by any shrapnel. Their was enough force to shoot the handle to the lid up into the air and land about a foot away on the range. The skillet was fine but the lid and dinner was destroyed.   2. Great Non-Stick Pan This is a nice large pan. It’s good as a skillet or for stir-fry. It has high sides that reduce splatters.The non-stick surface works great and it’s easy to clean. The only thing that surprised me though is that it tends to have a hot spot (see update note below). I’ve noticed that things cook a little faster in the region closest to the handle.   3. I love these Non-stick Anolon pans from Amazon. I ordered both the covered 12″ skillet and the smaller 8″ skillet from the Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection and was delighted to see they are even better than I expected. The weight is ideal–impressive but not too heavy for my older hands, The finish shouts quality inside and out. Cooking with them is a step-up in ease of cooking and cleaning.
