Made of thick gauge aluminum for even heat distribution and prevents hot spots. Nonstick coating makes food release/cleaning easy and allows for healthy cooking. Cadmium and lead free. Riveted handles are comfortable to hold, stay cool, and non-slip. Hole in handle for hanging. Induction compatible. Works on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, halogen, etc. Not oven safe. Dishwasher safe. Please do not use metal utensils as it may scratch the nonstick coating. Over-heating may damage nonstick coating.   1. Quality Pans for Induction Cooktops This is high quality cookware. I purchased this set in November 2016 to work with induction cooktops, and all sizes including the 8″ pan heat without issues with three different induction brands: Max Burton, Tatung, and Rosewill. I use the 8″ and 10″ pans every day. They have thick walls and are robust, but not overly heavy due to their aluminum composition. We have not had this set long enough to see how well it holds up, but we bought the solo 12-inch pan and loved it so we ordered this 3-piece set a few months later. BIG disappointment.
