This is my second skillet of this brand/type, and the first one is holding up well because I am finally following the following rules: Never heat beyond low or medium.   2. Marginal at best It’s a very marginal pan. Out of the box it functions well and the non-stick is great. Give it some time- 2mos and the honeymoon is over. The non-stick doesn’t hold up and it starts to stain both inside on the surface as well as on the outside. The staining doesn’t go away and scrubbing voids the directions of use. Speaking of use, we are very cautious of how we treat the pan and it still failed us. I purchased based on reviews of others and I should have spent more $ and did a bit more…

It is perhaps slightly less “non-stick” than what I’m used to with Teflon. But it works very well. The only drawback – based on my own experience with many different pans over the decades – is that this one is pretty SLOW to heat. But once it gets to temperature it is a real beauty to work with.
