Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron 2 Skillet Bundle. 12” + 10.25” Set of 2 Cast Iron Frying Pans

For over 100 years Lodge has been dedicated to manufacturing quality cookware, that can be passed down from one generation to the next. From summertime campouts to Sunday night dinners, Lodge is happy to be at home on your table.

COOKING AND CARING FOR YOUR CAST IRON SET
Caring for your cast iron doesn’t have to be complicated. Lodge cookware comes already seasoned and ready to use, so you can make your family’s favorite recipes right away. You can use it on any heat source, from the stove to the campfire (just not the microwave!). The more you use it, the better the seasoning will get.

After hand washing your cookware, simply place it on a burner for a few minutes to dry and then rub on a thin layer of the cooking oil of your choice. For extra messy situations, simmer some water in your pan and then use a pan scraper after it’s cooled. For excellent maintenance, and to prevent rust, always dry promptly and store in a cool, dry place.

LODGE HISTORY
Founded in 1896, the Lodge family has been making high quality cookware and accessories for over a century. Joseph Lodge created a legacy that has lasted through more than half of U.S. history. Even during the challenging times, like the Great Depression, the Lodge family has been committed to keeping their employees and their families afloat. Novelty items such as cast iron animals and garden gnomes were sold in order to keep paychecks coming and families fed.

Lodge Cast Iron is still family run, and their CEO is the great-grandson of Mr. Joseph Lodge himself.

  1. HEAVY! Small pan/griddle size/short handles, worked great- wish it had 2 lids! I priced these at a local kitchen supply and they wanted $45 just for ONE pan! Took these car camping. They appear super well made, but they are very heavy. I really only wanted the griddle, large pan and lid, but after lots of research this bundle was the cheapest option and the dutch oven came in handy! The dutch oven lid fits the larger pan and griddle. Its is not flat, so when its on the griddle it has a nice gap so you don’t flatten your food. The pan size and griddle were perfect…

  2. Nice set but not non-stick out of the box I am slowly adjusting to life cooking on cast iron. At first, food was sticking pretty badly to it; hence the loss of one star. So I seasoned it myself a couple more times and after a couple weeks of cooking on it regularly, it’s finally getting to be non-stick. These are very heavy, so still haven’t figured out how to flip things, but small price to pay for quality cookware. Warm the pans slowly and turn up the heat, but remember these things get hot and stay hot for a long time so don’t heat…
