The Stone Earth All-In-One Sauce Pan by Ozeri, with 100% APEO & PFOA-Free Stone-Derived Non-Stick Coating from Germany

Utilizing STONEHENGE — a stone-derived coating from Germany, the 5 L (5.3 Quart) All-In-One Stone Earth Sauce Pan by Ozeri delivers non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of APEO, PFOA, NMP and NEP. Conventional sauce pans and pots often achieve their non-stick performance with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), a potential carcinogen which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment’, and APEO (Alkylphenol ethoxylates), which are under restricted use in Germany due to environmental concerns about their poor biodegradability and toxicity in the food chain. According to the EPA, once ingested, PFOA is capable of remaining in people for a very long time, and has been shown to cause developmental and other adverse effects in laboratory animals. Likewise, European studies have shown that APEO may be toxic to aquatic life, and has the potential to act as endocrine disrupters. With the Stone Earth Sauce Pan, no such chemicals are ever passed on to you, or into the environment. This is because the Stone Earth Sauce Pan utilizes an inert coating that is applied using a water based Sol Gel Technique which is free of the lesser known but potentially harmful chemicals NMP (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone) and NEP (N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone), often found in traditional cookware. The Stone Earth Sauce Pan is also far more durable and scratch-resistant than other coatings, and its non-stick surface renders cleaning a breeze. The Stone Earth Sauce Pan by Ozeri is made of the highest quality die-cast aluminum that allows for even cooking with maximum heat retention, and features a magnetized bottom for use on induction stoves. It boasts a heat-resistant silicone-coated handle and side helper handle for safe handling, and a tempered glass lid with a steam-release vent and heat-resistant knob. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. STONEHENGE coating made by Weilburger GmbH, Germany. Sauce pan assembled in China.

  1. Lasted only a little over a year I purchase the Stone Earth All-In-One Sauce Pan in April 2016. Initially, I was very pleased with the pan but withinthe past month or two, the condition of the surface has deteriorated to where I am now concerned about the safe use of this pan.The stone surface appears to be wearing away exposing a lower layer.I have follow all the guidelines of med heat or lower, non metal utensils, hand wash only, no abrasive cleaners/pads. I have also tried the lemon juice wipe…

  2. Awesome pan that needs tender loving care Awesome pan but needs some tender loving care.I purchased this pan for its healthy non-stick surface and design features. It works wonderfully for frying eggs, making hot-dishes, cooking mussles and shrimp. I really like the high sides for some of my larger quantity recipes. The lid fits perfectly, food slides right off.One small negative is that the bottom seems to have gained a slight discoloring after I cooked with red spices like paprika. It is slight but is present…

  3. The BEST This is my third Stone Earth pan. I started with the 10 inch when it was all they made. As soon as they came out with the 12 inch–I had to have it. I was delighted to find this pan as I got rid of a pan of this style years ago when the teflon wore out and I couldn’t find something I liked until now. My husband, who does the dishes because I do the cooking (his idea, not mine), loves these pans because they take nothing to clean. Other than one small saucepan with a ceramic coating (which…
