Funny Smell When Cooking? I did some research into these and found good reviews. Love my new WaxonWare skillet set!! Iâve used my new skillets, both sizes, several times since they arrived, and I am really quite happy with them. I use them primarily for eggs/omelettes as I use Lodge CI for everything else. I love how the eggs just slide around. The instructions say to just wipe with a little vegetable oil to preseason, and nothing else is required. Seem like nice pans so far The smaller pan had a chip on the edge when received. Hopefully this will not continue to chip or rust. Found out that these non-stick pans are not meant for high heat cooking. So far has worked very well without sticking. I was quite dismayed to see tht the price dropped substantially from the time I ordered the set to when I received them.
