  1. Some Good Points and Some Bad I like the 8″ skillet. It’s nowhere near a five-star pan, but I’d give it 3-and-a-half stars, not rounded-up. It’s heavier than the 8-inch pan it’s replacing. It’s hard to find a small skillet with lower sides at a more shallow angle, like this has, that allows you to easily flip an egg. It has a normal-length handle. Those are good points.The handle gets hot even on a smooth top electric stove. There’s a warning on the package, but it still came as a surprise to me how far…
