Excellent pan, but understand what you’re getting… This is an excellent fry pan. It has a nice heft to it, heats up very evenly and the handle stays cool to the grip even during long cooking sessions. The nonstick performance is outstanding, as you’d expect from a quality PTFE-based coating (more on that later). Worth the money. Le Creuset does it again! After having some other non-stick pans that promised to last, then failed after a few weeks, I can say that’s not yet the case with this pan. I’ve had it for three months now and it simply will not let something stick to it. I will reiterate that it transfers heat very well, so I don’t ever need to go above a 6 on our ceramic top electric range.
