LONG TERM USE: COATING BREAKDOWN, NON-STICK GONE Here is my experience after three years of using the 11 deep dish, 11 and 8 inch saute pans.- The 11 inch deep dish pan developed, after light use and no abuse, bubbling of the coating and flaking (see photo). I consider this a possible manufacturing defect and health hazard due to possible ingestion of the pieces.- The 11 and 8 inch saute pans are used mainly for preparing hotcakes and other breakfast/brunch items and have received moderate use over the years.   2. Don’t count on the warranty! This is a great pan and I loved using it for 5 years. However after regular use the pan’s no stick surface started to wear. I was going to use the LIFETIME WARRANTY as I have used with my calphalon pans.Filled out the Swiss Diamond warranty info and received this note back: “The darkening of your pan’s surface indicates the pan was damaged through overheating.   3. disappointing — didn’t wear well — Swiss Diamond Nonstick Fry Pan – 12.5″I’ve had this for about a year. It’s been used daily for eggs and about every three weeks to reheat pizza. I’ve only used one plastic Calphalon spatula in this pan. I consider our usage light to medium and it isn’t lasting well. It showed signs of wear in the first month, which wasn’t a good omen.
