LID EXPLODED!!!!! I received this product as a gift. This morning was my first attempt at using it. I laid some bacon in the pan and covered the pan with the lid. Several minutes into cooking, I removed the lid to turn the bacon over. The heat setting was on the LOWEST setting/ amount of gas possible. I was holding the lid in my left hand and turning the food with my right. I had only turned 2 pieces when there was a very loud POP! The explosion that took place was this lid blowing up in my hand.
