Be careful before you purchase! We bought this based on several recommendations claiming excellent cooking capability. However, these recommendations proved to be false! We had the unit quit functioning (no heat) in less then one month. After callsto customer service we were advised that a simple fix would be to replace the cord/controller. Best Electric Frypan ever! I have had several electric frypans over 56 years of marriage. This is by far the very, very best! Even heating. Easy cleanup, predictable temperatures, it is an amazing cooking utensil! We are down to a household of 2 most days, and it is fairly large. It would have served us well while our kids were still home, but it works for two, as well. The heating is so even and dependable that even i, a “so-so” cook cannot mess up! Expensive? Maybe. But I bet had I had it several years .. or…
