  1. Great pan, but learn how to use it. OK, folks, it seems that many, in here, have no idea what a good skillet/frying pan is capable of doing. Along with that, so many do not understand what “seasoning” a given pan entails. Are you buying this 12″ pan for its looks? Really? Do this, then: Buy a nice display rack, at a high-end shop, and mount this pan, right out of the box. Never use it, and it will look great and really impress your friends. I guarantee it.   2. Better than hard-anodized Wish I had bought this a long time ago! My old Calphalon hard anodized fry pans have started showing their age. I never use metal utensils with these, but the coating seems to be flaking or just looking ragged, so I decided to replace them. I started with this 8″ pan and will work my way up now that I know how good it is. I love this pan. It’s not non-stick, but not much sticks to it anyway and it’s easy to clean.
