Have owned 2 in less than 6 years and both have stopped working I’ve owned 2 of these (16 inch size) – the first stopped working after 3.5 years and the second after only 2 years. The problem seems to be that the socket where you plug in the power cord gets corroded and then the coils won’t heat up. There is definitely a design flaw where if you allow the lid to sit tightly then when it steams up water will start to spill out over the sides.
