In designing the Emeril Lagasse Hard Anodized Cookware, I thought about what I look for in pots and pans that I use both at home and in my restaurants: durability, dependability, and performance. Serious cooks will love the way the riveted handle fits the hand well and stays cool to the touch. The heavy-gauge aluminum means that these pans will heat up quickly and evenly, so you can count on even browning and cooking. These pans will go from stovetop to oven without missing a beat. And, hey – there’s no need to worry about clean-up with these pans: the durable, scratch-resistant nonstick coating means that even the stickiest foods will wipe right off. Better yet – these pots are safe to go right into the dishwasher as well. What’s not to love? This big boy, the Emeril Lagasse Hard Anodized 12 inch fry pan, is the grand-daddy of fry pans. Sear numerous steaks, chicken pieces, or pork chops at the same time in this sizeable pan, or make a multi-ingredient stir-fry for the entire family!

Mis-matched lids
Uneven heating and Bad Handle Design I have a 3 Qt. Stainless Emeril pan with a glass lid with built in strainer I just love so I had high expectations for this griddle. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet them. Like most griddles these days they are just too thin. Because of this the heat distribution and retention is poor resulting in uneven cooking. Furthermore, the handles on this one are relatively large and bent 90 degrees so the handle hits the back of the range so the burner isn’t as far under the griddle as one would like,…
