  2. Great pan once you get it seasoned, too much work to get to that point Pan was coated with a protective covering that was absolutely hard to remove both inside and outside. It was very thin and would not stay in one piece. After about a half hour of work, I finally heated the pan in hot water and peeled the remaining coating off even before I could begin seasoning. Seasoning did not go well the first time around with the uneven seasoning with the oil. Decided to get out steel wool and removed original seasoning and rough up the pan surface and tried again.
