I bought these because I had a Le Creuset frying pan that a friend gave me as a gift, and I loved it so much that I used it almost every single day for years! It finally got scratched – my fault! – so I tried a less expensive pan. What a waste! Even heating and great nonstick! I use the 8″ for eggs & bacon/ham plus omelets plus grilled cheese, etc. The 10″ is for larger items such as pancakes or when I am cooking breakfast for several people and want to speed things up. Both are superb at heating evenly and were replacements for earlier design Le Crueset pans that I loved but finally wore the nonstick to the point they needed replacing.
